Father raped his daughter.
Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. The father has been accused of raping a 14 year old minor daughter in Paharganj police station area of Central District. Fed up, the girl along with her friend's parents (landlord) reached Paharganj police station and lodged a complaint. The police registered a case under sections of rape and POCSO and immediately arrested the accused after investigation.
According to DCP Central District Anant Mittal, on February 1, a 14-year-old girl studying in eighth class reached Paharganj police station with her friend's parents and told that her mother had gone to the village in Bihar 15 days ago and she was living with her father.
At 1:30 am on January 31, when she was sleeping in the room with her younger sister and father at her home, her father raped her despite her protest and threatened her not to tell this to anyone. She also told that in the last 15 days after her mother went to Bihar, her father had made her a victim of lust several times.
At first she remained silent out of fear, as her father brutally physically abused her and her mother. Finally, expressing concern for the safety of her younger sister, she informed the police about the matter. Considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the crime, the police team arrested the accused under the supervision of ACP and SHO.
