Jagran correspondent, Rewari. Devanshu, a PhD scholar who was promising in studies since childhood and committed a serious crime as soon as he reached the threshold of youth, was burnt in the fire of the murderous attack on his constable father 30 years ago. According to police records, even though his father Surajbhan was injured in a road accident, not only him but other family members also suspected that Surajbhan was attacked by Ajmer's history-sheeter Vinod Frederick.

Weapons were purchased by taking loan

To take revenge for this, Devanshu not only took a loan of Rs 50 lakh from different banks, but also spent the entire amount in purchasing weapons and other items. He had prepared a gang to murder Vinod, in which Shubham from Azamgarh and arms smuggler Bunty from Meerut had joined the gang by becoming his friends. Now he was looking for an opportunity but before that, on December 16, cab driver Sanjay was shot in Rewari and caught in the case of robbing a Swift Dezire car.

Devanshu's father had punished the history-sheeter

Drug smuggler Vined Frederick, a resident of Beawar, Rajasthan, is a scoundrel of Nasirabad. He is also a history sheeter of Ajmer city police station. In the year 1993, he had killed a young man by cutting him with a sword in broad daylight. Due to fear of Vinod, the police also avoided laying hands on him, but in this case, Devanshu's father Constable Surajbhan arrested Vinod, due to which Vinod was sentenced to 10 years in this case.

As I grew up, the fire of rivalry kept burning.

Due to Surajbhan's bravery and honesty in this case, the police department was honored by promotion in the year 1995. In the year 1995 itself, Surajbhan was seriously injured in a road accident. The relative had expressed suspicion of attacking history-sheeter Vinod. At that time Devanshu was not even born, but as Devanshu grew up after birth, there was mention of attack on his father in the house and this thing stuck in his mind. After this he grew up and decided to take revenge from Vinod. Devanshu is the only child of his parents.

A large quantity of arms, cartridges and handcuffs were found

On Monday, DSP Crime Surendra Sheoran told reporters that the accused Devanshu was preparing his gang to avenge his father. Along with this, he had taken a loan of Rs 50 lakh from various banks and collected weapons and other items to kill Vinod. During interrogation, five country-made pistols, 250 cartridges, eight magazines, 22 magazine springs, one barrel spring, one bag, one iPhone, six walkie-talkie sets, five walkie-talkie chargers, five adapters, one packet of gloves, one binocular, two power adapters, three empty cartridge boxes and one handcuff were recovered from the accused.

Presented in court again and sent to jail

Initially, two pistols, 89 live cartridges, wave blocker, GPS detector and mobile phone and other items were recovered from Devanshu. Along with Devanshu, Shubham has been produced in the court again after completion of five-day remand and sent to jail. Bunty is still on remand.
