Jagran correspondent, Unnao. In PD Nagar of Sadar area, the elder brother lost his temper and killed the younger brother by stabbing him in the stomach after a fight and stone pelting. The accused escaped after the incident.
After investigation at the spot, the police and forensic team recorded the statements of the people nearby. Raids are being conducted in search of the accused.
23-year-old Satyam Soni, resident of PD Nagar locality of Sadar area, was the third among four siblings. Due to mental illness, he stayed at home. Elder brother Satyam lives with his wife Pooja near Nandan Forest Park, one km away from home.
According to Pooja, she was talking to her sister-in-law Sapna on phone at 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. Then Satyam reached outside the house and started abusing his elder brother Shivam. Apart from Shivam, people of the locality also stopped him but he did not agree.
When Shivam refused to abuse, after an argument Satyam started pelting stones. The people of the locality intervened and removed both of them. Even after this Satyam did not stop abusing. In anger, Shivam brought a knife from home and stabbed Satyam in the stomach.
Satyam fell there and started writhing. Mother Asha Devi was informed on this. She arrived and with the help of the people of the locality took Satyam to the district hospital, where he was declared dead. CO City Deepak Yadav after investigation at the spot took statements of the people there.
Sadar Kotwal Chandrakant Mishra took information about the incident from late Satyam's mother Asha Devi and sister Aaradhya. Mother and sister also talked about Satyam being mentally ill and often fighting with people. Sadar Kotwal said that on the basis of the complaint, a case will be registered and the accused will be arrested soon.
