Sports Desk, New Delhi. In the final of ACC Men's Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, Pakistan Under-19 cricket team defeated Indian Under-19 cricket team by 191 runs. With this, Pakistan won the trophy for the first time. In 2012, the Indian team and Pakistan team shared the trophy. After the defeat, Indian captain Ayush Mhattra listed the shortcomings of his team.

The captain gave reasons

Ayush Mhatre said, "We had decided to bowl first, although there were some irregularities in the bowling. We had planned to play 50 overs. The players played really well and the tournament has been good for us, some players have performed brilliantly. We did not have a good day. We did not field well either. They batted well. Glad that the tournament was very good for us."

Talking about the match, after losing the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan scored 347 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs with the help of Sameer Minhas' 172 and Ahmed Hussain's 56 innings. Chasing the target of 348 runs, the Indian team collapsed for 156 runs in 26.2 overs.

For India, Deepesh Devendran played the highest innings of 36 runs. Whereas Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 26 runs. Whereas Aaron George played an inning of 16 runs. Captain Ayush's bat once again did not work. He faced 7 balls and scored 2 runs.
