Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a century
Sports Desk, New Delhi. Wherever Vaibhav Suryavanshi goes, he becomes a name of fear for the bowlers with his stormy batting. Once again he wreaked havoc with his bat and the UAE team became its victim. India faces UAE in the first match of Under-19 Asia Cup. Team India came out to bat first and Suryavanshi showed his true colors in which he talks only in fours and sixes.
Captain Ayush Mahatre was out on the fifth ball of the third over. He scored only four runs in 11 balls. After this Vaibhav took charge and batted stormily. Vaibhav took some time in the beginning but once he got the team back on track, he wreaked havoc.
Vaibhav completed his half-century in 29 balls. He completed his fifty runs by hitting a six. After this he did not stop. He hit three sixes on Ahmed Khudaad who came to bowl the 16th over. However, after this Vaibhav stopped for a while and then started taking singles. He did not hit any boundaries in the next two-three overs. He reached 92 runs by hitting a six on the fifth ball of the 18th over. He took two singles in the 19th over and then hit a four on the last ball and reached 98 runs. Vaibhav completed his century by taking one run on the second ball of the 21st over.
Rising Star created ruckus in Asia Cup
Vaibhav had earlier scored a century against UAE only. Then he was playing for UAE on behalf of India A and it was for the Rising Star Asia Cup. Vaibhav then played an inning of 144 runs in 42 balls against UAE. He completed his century in 32 balls.
