Industrial clusters will also be built in about 500 meters at the corners of those big squares. So that the industrial area can be developed. This will also increase employment opportunities.
Industrial cluster will be a group of companies, suppliers and related institutions located in a geographical area, which will promote competitiveness, efficiency and innovation through shared infrastructure, skills and resources.
This could be ideal for small and medium enterprises (MMES). This will create employment and also give impetus to the local economy.
There is also a proposal to extend Vindhya Expressway to the border of Chhattisgarh. In this regard, a meeting has also been held here under the chairmanship of District Magistrate BN Singh with officials of Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) and Public Works Department. A survey was also conducted last month. However, the final proposal has not been made yet. Work on this is also going on in full swing.
Many advanced tunnels are also to be built in this expressway. There is a plan to connect Prayagraj to Bhadohi, Mirzapur via Sonbhadra along with Chandauli and Ghazipur. Murghwa will be taken to Renukoot via Ahraira, Sukrit, Robertsganj, Chopan, Hathinala. The total distance of this expressway is approximately 287 km.
For this, UPEDA team has also conducted a survey. Efforts are being made to ensure that this route covers at least areas with good forest cover. Vindhya Expressway passing through the district will start from Prayagraj (Ganga Expressway) and reach Sonbhadra via Varanasi, Mirzapur Chandauli, which will provide better connectivity to Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
This will also promote development and tourism in southern UP. This expressway, which will end at NH-39 in Sonbhadra, will also provide better connectivity with Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Besides, there will be industrial development in Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra.
Characteristics of Industrial Cluster
Many businesses in the same or related industry will be able to set up in the same area. Goods suppliers, common facility centres, and advanced infrastructure will be strengthened. This will also reduce logistics and production costs.
Being close to each other will increase the exchange of technical knowledge and cooperation between companies. Also, a large number of employment opportunities will be provided at the local level.
This expressway will play an important role in the industrial development of Purvanchal, especially the Vindhya region. This will increase employment opportunities in the area and will also give impetus to the local economy. Work on this is going on rapidly.
