Jagran correspondent, Pilibhit. A two-year-old innocent boy lost his life in a bike collision on Saturday night in Paniya Ramkishan village of Barkheda police station area. His father was seriously injured in a road accident.
The incident took place when the father was going to the medical store with his only son in his lap to get medicine. Kunwar Sen, resident of Paniya Ramkishan, said that his brother Anil had gone out to get medicine from the medical store in the village at around 8 pm on Saturday night with his two-year old son Karthik in his lap.
He had just reached near the medical store when a speeding bike rider coming from the front hit him hard. The collision was so severe that innocent Karthik was thrown from his father's lap and fell far away, due to which he suffered serious head injuries. Anil was also badly injured in this accident.
After the accident a huge crowd gathered at the spot. The villagers caught the bike rider who was trying to escape and informed the police and his relatives. With the help of an ambulance, the police took both of them to the district hospital, where the doctors declared innocent Karthik dead.
Treatment of seriously injured Anil is continuing in the hospital. Police have sent Karthik's body for post-mortem. Mother Rita's condition is miserable due to crying.
