Samvad Sutra, Puraini (Madhepura). A meeting was held in the meeting room of the block office complex regarding 100 percent e-KYC of ration card holders of the block area. Many necessary guidelines in this regard were given to the PDS vendors present in the meeting.
Most of the PDS vendors of the block area were present in the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Block Supply Officer Narendra Kumar. During this, the Block Supply Officer said that as per the departmental instructions, 100% e-KYC of all ration card holders is to be done.
For this, apart from doing wide publicity in their respective nutritional areas, all the PDS vendors will go door-to-door to make the ration card holders aware, so that all the cardholders can get their e-KYC done on time. Special care has to be taken to ensure that not a single beneficiary is left out after getting e-KYC done.
He also gave strict instructions to the PDS vendors present to distribute food grains on time as per government prescribed weight. Said, if complaint of irregularities in distribution of food grains is received, departmental action will be taken against the concerned PDS vendors.
