JEE Main Exam 2026: Formula Based Questions Increased The Challenge, Mathematics Remained The Most Difficult.

JEE Main Exam 2026:

Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. JEE Main Exam 2026: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (January session) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency started from Wednesday. The examination was conducted in two shifts. The first innings ran from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second innings concluded from 3 pm to 6 pm. A huge crowd of candidates and their parents was seen at the online examination center in Burari since morning regarding the examination. Strict security arrangements were made outside the centre. According to the information received, 813 candidates were to appear in two shifts.

Out of which 24 candidates were absent, while 789 were present. The candidates who appeared after the examination gave mixed reactions regarding the question paper. Candidate Gurmeet said that this time less direct questions were asked as compared to last year. Most of the questions were formula based, which required deep understanding and clear concept. There were less questions related to the use of differentiation in Mathematics subject. Two to three questions were asked from vector algebra and three dimensional geometry. Questions from quadratic equations, matrices, sets and relations were also included. Questions related to conic section and series were relatively more.

Question paper balanced but difficult in mathematics

Overall the question paper was considered balanced but difficult in mathematics. Viplav, a candidate from Patna, said that the questions of Physics and Chemistry were of normal level, whereas the questions of Mathematics were relatively difficult. Whereas Ravi from Munger told that this was his first attempt. He said that the mathematics questions were quite difficult, while the physics and chemistry questions were easy. Good marks are expected. The examination will continue till January 28.
