Jeep filled with passengers fell into 60 feet deep gorge in Udaipur, 3 killed and 19 injured (file photo)
Digital Desk, New Delhi. A major road accident took place in the tribal dominated Kotra police station area of Udaipur district on Wednesday afternoon. The jeep filled with 27 passengers went out of control and fell into a 60 feet deep gorge.
In the accident, three passengers died on the spot, while 19 people were injured. The condition of many of the injured is said to be serious. Whose treatment is going on in MB Hospital, Udaipur. Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal said that the jeep was coming from Maldar village towards Kotra.
During the climb the brakes of the jeep suddenly failed. The driver tried to control the vehicle, but the jeep lost control, went off the road and fell into a ditch. The local villager took the injured out of the jeep and took them to the hospital via ambulance.
