An extortion money of Rs 2 crore has been demanded from LJP Ram Vilas leader cum businessman Premchand alias Prem Singh in the name of Prince Khan from Dubai.
Jagran correspondent, Chatra. Once again the shadow of terror in the name of extortion and gangsters has deepened in the district. An extortion money of Rs 2 crore has been demanded from Hunterganj resident LJP leader Ram Vilas and former leader and businessman Premchand alias Prem Singh.
The extortion amount has been demanded in the name of gangster Prince Khan. Sources claim that Prince Khan is in Dubai and is running his empire of terror from there. The LJP leader received this threat on December 11.
In the audio clip and call sent from an unknown international WhatsApp number, it was clearly stated that if the money was not paid, the skull would be opened and responsibility for the murder would be taken upon oneself. According to the victim, the person making the threat identified himself as Prince Khan, a gangster from Dubai.
An open challenge has been given to even SP, DIG and DGP by releasing the audio.
In the audio of more than a minute, not only was a demand for extortion made, but an open challenge was also given to the police station, SP, DIG and DGP. It is also said in the message that there is no need to register a case, because after the murder everything will happen automatically.
Frightened by the threat, Prem Singh lodged an FIR at Hunterganj police station the same day. Despite this, the absence of any concrete action even after a week of the incident is raising questions on the working style of the police. This matter has also worried the traders of the district.
He says that the discussed matter is also in cold storage. The safety of common traders depends only on God. Meanwhile, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sandeep Suman said that the matter is being investigated after the FIR was registered. Many cases are also registered against Prince Khan in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad districts. Further action is being taken on that basis.
