The state government will publish a competition magazine for the students of class 11th and 12th studying in government plus two schools of the state.
State Bureau, Ranchi. Competition magazine will be published so that students of class 11th and 12th studying in government plus two schools of the state can prepare for medical, engineering and other competitive examinations.
Besides, science magazine will also be published for the students of class 9th to 12th studying in secondary and plus two schools. This decision has been taken with the aim of increasing the curiosity about competitive examinations among the children of government schools and to provide educational help in preparation.
These magazines will be published every month. Jharkhand Education Project Council has started the process of selection of printer for the publication of these magazines in the academic session 2026-27. Both the competition and science magazines will be of 100 pages each including the cover.
The magazine will be in four colours. The quality of paper and cover has also been determined. The printer will be responsible for publishing the magazines as well as delivering them to the District Education Officer office of each district.
From there it will be distributed in schools. Like before, Pankh magazine will also be published monthly for government schools. Under this, Junior Pankh and Senior Pankh magazines will be published.
Both these magazines are of 40 and 32 pages respectively including cover. Pankh Patrika is published under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, for which 60 percent of the funds are provided by the Central Government, while 40 percent of the funds are borne by the State Government.
These four magazines will be published in three packages. Pankh (Junior and Senior) will be published in the first package, competition magazine in the second package and science magazine in the third package. The selected printer or printers will be given the responsibility of publishing the magazine for one year.
