State Bureau, Ranchi. Under the special parent-teacher meeting (PTM) being organized in four phases in government schools, this meeting, to be held in the presence of ministers, MPs and MLAs, will now be held on January 16 next year.
Earlier this meeting was scheduled to be held on December 24 this year, but in view of Christmas and winter holidays, public representatives had requested to change the date of the meeting.
In view of this, Jharkhand Education Project Council Director Shashi Ranjan has sent a letter to all the Deputy Commissioners asking them to organize a meeting on January 16 in the presence of public representatives in the identified schools.
Let us tell you that ministers, MPs and MLAs have been requested to attend the said meeting by visiting at least 10 schools in their area. Apart from the identified schools, this meeting has started in other government schools from Friday itself.
State Bureau, Ranchi. In view of the ongoing cold wave in the state, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has appealed to the public to be cautious. He has said in his message that people should take necessary precautions and stay safe during the cold wave. He has suggested people to avoid unnecessary travel.
It has been said not to leave the house unnecessarily, especially in the morning and evening. He said that people should wear warm clothes and take special care of children and the elderly. Use a bonfire or heater to avoid cold, but also ensure adequate ventilation.
If symptoms like cough, cold, weakness and difficulty in breathing appear, immediately contact the nearest health center. In case of any emergency, he has appealed to contact the Health Department's 108 ambulance service, 104 helpline or 1800-345-6540. The Chief Minister said that people's safety is his priority.
