Journalist Harish Chandra Burnwal gets doctorate degree for research on 'Mann Ki Baat'
IANS, New Delhi. Senior journalist Harish Chandra Burnwal was on Sunday awarded the Doctorate (PhD) degree for his excellent research work on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat'.
This honorary degree was given to him by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda at the convocation ceremony of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad.
Dr. Barnwal completed his research on the topic "Analysis of Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat' program in the context of Sustainable Development Goals" under the guidance of Professor Dr. Kumar Rajesh. This research work of Barnawal is the first of its kind in the academic world.
His research explores how Prime Minister Narendra Modi transformed poverty alleviation, health, education and women's empowerment into a mass movement and facilitated the participation of common people.
