Digital Desk, New Delhi. In July 2024, the helicopter carrying then Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis got stuck in dense monsoon clouds and lost its way due to poor visibility. Due to which Ajit Power started getting worried.

Devendra Fadnavis, who was traveling in the plane with Ajit Pawar, told him, "I have survived 6 accidents, we will land safely even today." After which the pilot, showing his skill, controlled the helicopter and made a safe landing in Gadchiroli.

Ajit Pawar had told this during a meeting. "Uday Samant asked me to see the landing site, and when I saw it, I was relieved," he said.

I have lost a good friend- Devendra Fadnavis

Now 18 months later, Ajit Pawar has died in a plane crash. Devendra Fadnavis described Ajit Pawar's death as unbelievable and said that he has lost a good friend. He said, "Pawar's death has left a void that will never be filled; after working together so closely, it is unbelievable that he is no more."

5 people died in plane crash

All five people on board the plane have died in this tragic accident. Pilot Sumit Kapoor and co-pilot Sambhavi Pathak were included in the plane along with Ajit Pawar. Apart from these, two staff members of Ajit Pawar – Vidip Jadhav and Pinky Mali were present.

Plane went out of control during landing

According to reports, Ajit Pawar's plane went out of control and crashed during landing at Baramati airport. The plane caught fire after the crash. An eyewitness said that the plane crashed about 100 feet before reaching departure.
