Digital Desk, New Delhi. In Karnataka, a woman along with her lover and his friend conspired to kill her own husband. The woman mixed sleeping pills in the biryani. After this, when her husband became unconscious, she along with her lover beat him badly.
Officials said, 'This incident happened on the night of January 18. The victim has been identified as Lokam Sivanagaraju, a resident of Lokmavari Veedhi.
The victim's wife, Lokam Lakshmi Madhuri, murdered him because he was opposing her extramarital affair.

District Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal said, 'The accused had completely planned the crime. Lakshmi Madhuri prepared biryani for her husband and mixed about 20 sleeping pills in it, due to which he fell into a deep sleep.'
“When Sivanagaraju became unconscious, Lakshmi Madhuri and her lover allegedly attacked him,” the SP said. The victim was hit on the chest with a wooden cylinder used to make papad, due to which his ribs were broken.
According to police information, 'After beating Sivanagaraju badly, he was strangled, due to which he died due to suffocation. The accused initially tried to show the death as natural cardiac arrest.
When Sivanagaraju's family members became suspicious, the police registered a case and started investigation. The post mortem report found internal injuries and signs of violent attack, which proved that it was a case of murder.
