The youth who became victims of the snow storm had not one but two dogs with them. 19-year-old Vikas and 13-year-old Piyush had gone towards the hill to make a video. During this time, they got trapped in the snow due to a sudden snow storm. 13 year old Piyush became ill due to cold and was unable to walk. On this, Vikas left the pitbull with him and went down to the village with another dog to ask for help. But in his haste he fell into the ditch and his leg got fractured, after which he got buried in the snow. There has been no trace of the Gaddi breed dog that accompanied him.
Piyush had come to aunt's house
13 year old Piyush had come to his aunt Anita Devi's house. He was a student of eighth class. Vikas and he had planned to go for a walk and make a video. At the same time, Vikas was at home after studying till 12th and was fond of making videos. Both of them went missing in the snow on 22 January and were found dead on 26 January.

The owner of these dogs was not Piyush but Vikas. Vikas's father had kept two dogs. He was very fond of dogs. But after his death a year ago, Vikas's mother gave them to someone. Vikas had brought both of them to his home two days ago.
