Basopatti police station and SSB have arrested Abul Inam alias Laden from Kotwali Chowk locality of Nagar police station area in connection with the fake currency business and the escape of a Pakistani citizen recently. SDPO Raghav Dayal said that arrest has been made in Basopatti police station case number 40/25 in the fake currency trading case.
It is noteworthy that last year, SSB jawans of Janakinagar SSB camp on Basopatti Nepal border had arrested Mohd. Sahir was arrested with Rs 13,000 fake notes.
During interrogation, he had revealed that fake notes were being brought from Pakistan via Nepal. In this, MO Ansari of Pakistan was living in Madhubani and handling the business of fake notes.
Police was continuously tracing the number
In the FIR registered in this case, Pakistan's Mohd. Ansari was nominated. During that interrogation, SSB and local police came to know about a number, on the basis of which the security agency was chasing Pakistani Mo Ansari.
Information was received that Mo Ansari was living near Kotwali Chowk of Madhubani city. But he escaped by dodging the security agencies. His last location was Jhanjharpur.
After that he became traceless. Recently, a buffalo was purchased in Lakhnaur police station area by paying fake notes of Rs 70 thousand. In this case, the police had arrested an accused named Bablu from Darbhanga.
There was another businessman with Bablu, whose record was already related to the business of fake currency. During the investigation of the same case, Abul Iman alias Laden of Kotwali Chowk locality was detected, who had helped Mo Ansari escape. Security agencies have started further investigation.
