Lakhisarai: Prepare DPR For Roads And Send It To The Government, We Will Get It Approved.

Union Panchayati Raj, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Minister and Munger MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh reached Ramchandrapur in Pipariya block on a one-day visit on Sunday. On this occasion, fulfilling the decades-old demands of the local villagers, he laid the foundation stone of construction of road and high level bridge from Suman Chowk to Zakharaj place Ramchandrapur at a cost of Rs 5 crore 26 lakh. Apart from this, the Union Minister inaugurated the newly constructed 30 bedded Community Health Center in Ramchandrapur. He inaugurated the health center remotely. The Union Minister, who reached Diara area for the first time after the assembly elections, was given a grand welcome with shower of flowers. A large number of local people and regional leaders were present in the program.

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Lalan Singh said that the affection and love of the people of Diara is a source of inspiration for me. He clarified, Diara's development is my responsibility, don't worry. He directed Rural Works Department Executive Engineer Ashutosh Kumar to prepare DPR for all the roads in the area and send it to the government for approval.

The Union Minister expressed his gratitude to the residents of Diara for making JDU candidate Ramanand Mandal win in the assembly elections. Besides, he also told the farmers and cattle herders the ways to increase their economic prosperity. Keeping in mind the prices of peas, tomatoes and milk, he gave information about ways to increase production and increase income. Farmers were encouraged to cultivate tomatoes from improved variety seeds, so that Mother Dairy Ranchi would purchase tomatoes directly from their farms and they would get good prices.

He suggested adopting sex-sorted semen technology for cattle farmers. Told that a sex sorted semen center will be established in Chanan of the district at a cost of Rs 250 crore, for which the District Magistrate has selected 80 acres of land. Apart from this, the Union Minister stressed on the formation of Milk Production Cooperation Committee and also informed about the plan to set up a chilling plant in Diara.

The Union Minister also informed about the ongoing road-culvert construction work at Mudwariya Pathua Path, Pipariya Walipur Pakar Tar, Pathua Bind Toli, Rahatpur and other places. He said that anything that hinders the development work will not be tolerated. The District Magistrate should use his administrative capacity to complete the road scheme. The meeting was presided over by Sitaram Singh and conducted by Ram Padarath Singh.

Suryagarha MLA Ramanand Mandal, District Magistrate Mithilesh Mishra, SP Awadhesh Dixit, ADM Neeraj Kumar, DDC Sumit Kumar, SDO Prabhakar Kumar, SDPO Shivam Kumar and dozens of other officers were present in the program. The students of Lal International School welcomed the Union Minister by applying tilak and presented a welcome song. Singer Mukesh Bhardwaj also entertained the people by presenting songs in the program. Dozens of people including former president of Lakhisarai Zilla Parishad Ravi Ranjan Kumar alias Tantan, Ramshankar Sharma, Ganesh Prasad Singh, Ravindra Prasad Singh welcomed the Union Minister by garlanding him with huge flowers, giving him bouquets and sheets.
