Bihar Road Development Corporation Limited (BSRDCL) will soon submit a new proposal to the Land Acquisition Department with the aim of taking forward the process of land acquisition for the 70.80 km long Marine Drive project from Safiabad to Sabour in Munger. This time the proposal will be presented with the map of Marine Drive.
According to officials, the map will be available in a few days. BSRDCL Assistant General Manager (AGM) Abhishek Kumar said that there will be no delay in submitting the proposal again. Along with this, the requisition will also be handed over to the Land Acquisition Department.
He said that the alignment of this project has already been approved. If any hurdle arises, it may occur during the land acquisition itself, but further process will also be completed by resolving it.
The agency has to set up the plant, for which necessary action will be taken expeditiously. He clarified that BSRDCL is continuously making efforts to ensure that there is no delay in starting the work on the project.
Marine Drive will be constructed for 35 kilometers from Safiabad to Ajgavinath Dham (Sultanganj) and 40.80 kilometers from Ajgavinath Dham to Sabour. On the other hand, the SIA team will hold a hearing on January 20 for the proposed industrial corridor in Goradih, Bhagalpur.
