Forensic team collected important evidence

According to classmates, Khushboo had returned home to college on January 27 and had been silent in recent times. Sinheshwar police station incharge Vinod Kumar Singh said that the room has been sealed and no objectionable material was recovered from the room. The cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes.

This incident has created a deep sensation and a wave of grief in the college campus. Classmates and relatives say that Khushboo was a diligent and disciplined student in her studies, and her sudden death has shocked everyone.

Youth RJD demanded high level investigation

Former state general secretary of youth RJD, Dr. Anand Azad gave a deep reaction on the death of a student under suspicious circumstances in the girls hostel of BP Mandal Engineering College. He described it as “extremely sad, unfortunate and shameful”. Dr. Azad said that after the NEET student massacre in Patna, this incident that happened in Madhepura raises serious questions on the higher education system of Bihar, student safety and government insensitivity.

"The body of the student being found hanging in the hostel room is an indication that the system of security, surveillance and mental support in the campus has completely failed. If the situation of the student had been taken care of in time, there had been counseling in the hostel, active role and monitoring of the warden, perhaps a life could have been saved today."

He demanded that there should be an impartial and high-level investigation into the matter and strict action should be taken against the guilty college administration and negligent officials. Dr. Azad warned that such cases create an atmosphere of insecurity and fear among students and their families. He says that education cannot be limited to just classrooms; It is also the responsibility of the state and institutions to ensure the mental health, safety and care of students. This incident is causing deep grief and concern not only in the college campus but also among students and parents in the entire district.

On February 2, information was received from the college administration that an engineering college student had locked her room from inside. The hostel student and staff first tried to get the room opened, but when the door was not opened, the girl's body was found hanging. A postmortem of the body has been done. The application has not been submitted by the relatives. Legal action will be taken upon receipt of the application and post mortem report.
