Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. Sewer is overflowing in Indraprastha Colony located at Tila Mod for about a month. The colony has become waterlogged due to overflow. This has spread filth. People are suffering due to foul smell. People are facing problems in transportation. More than 10 thousand people are troubled by this problem.

People said that dirty water has accumulated outside the house and at many places in the area for about a month. Water is accumulated in the vacant plot. There is a risk of diseases. Even after filing complaints several times, a permanent solution to the problem has not been found. Local resident Rajkumar Singh said that due to blockage of sewer line, dirty water is flowing on the roads. People are facing problems due to this.

When it rains, there is a danger of water reaching inside the houses. Local resident Pramod Rana said that the infestation of mosquitoes and insects has increased due to the plots being filled with contaminated water. Due to this, the risk of diseases remains constant. People are facing a lot of problems due to bad smell. GDA Executive Engineer Rajeev Kumar said that it will be repaired soon.
