The girl also died late on Tuesday evening. On the other hand, the post-mortem of the young man was done on Monday night itself and on Tuesday morning his relatives took the body and performed the last rites.
On Monday late evening at 7 pm, a 20-year-old young man and a girl were found unconscious in a car on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway from Kaidi Marg in Babri area towards village Hiranwada. The passerby had informed the police.
The police station had admitted both of them to Thana Bhawan CHC, where the doctors declared the young man dead, while the girl was referred to Meerut Medical College Hospital due to her critical condition.
The youth was identified as 20 year old Tamela resident of Surya Garhi Baghpat and the girl was identified as 20 year old Swati resident of Dhanaura Tikri Baghpat. Both of their relatives had arrived in the night itself.
Babri police station incharge Rahul Sisodia said that the post-mortem of the youth was done in the night itself. The relatives had gone to Baghpat with the dead body at around 5 am on Tuesday morning. The girl also died late on Tuesday evening.
