Jagran correspondent, Patna. Patna Police, which was engaged in search of the accused who sent the message of placing a bomb in the civil court through email, had gone to Jaisalmer and its surrounding districts of Rajasthan after technical research.
Some people were also interrogated, then the team reached Chennai. Despite this, Patna Police has not been able to arrest the person sending the threatening email. The police team has returned to Patna empty handed.
An email was sent three times between February 9 and 12 regarding a bomb being placed in the Behavioral Court premises. Even before this, an FIR was lodged in Pirbahore police station on April 25, August 29 and October 16 in the year 2025 in connection with receiving threatening emails.
In even one of these cases the police has not been able to identify the accused. The investigation by the police and the investigating agency is busy investigating the origin of the email, IP address and the digital medium used. After receiving three consecutive threatening emails between February 9 and 12, a special team was formed to investigate.
Besides, ATS and Cyber Cell teams are also engaged in the investigation. Two inspector rank officers from the police station were also included in the team. If sources are to be believed, the police got some important information during the technical research. Through him, locations were found in Chennai and Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
Based on this, the special team of Patna Police had first reached Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. There was a search conducted for three days, but no significant success was achieved.
After this the police reached Chennai. Stayed there also for two days. Some people were interrogated there, but no concrete evidence was found. After this the police team returned.
