Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Indian Railways News: In view of Magh Mela 2026, Railways has made special arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. To provide convenience to the passengers traveling to and from Prayagraj Magh Mela, temporary stoppage facility has been provided to seven pairs of trains including Pawan Express at Prayagraj, Rambagh and Jhusi stations.

Giving information in this regard, Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, said on Thursday that many important trains running on various dates during January and February 2026 will be stopped specifically for the Magh Mela period.

The trains receiving temporary halt include Jaynagar–Lokmanya Tilak Pawan Express, Sitamarhi–Anand Vihar Lichchhavi Express, Jaynagar–New Delhi Swatantrata Senani Express, Darbhanga–Pune Express, Raxaul–Lokmanya Tilak Antyodaya Express and Darbhanga–Ahmedabad Antyodaya Express. All these trains will stop at Prayagraj Rambagh and Jhusi stations on scheduled dates on their up and down routes.

This decision of Railways will provide great relief to the devotees coming to Prayagraj Magh Mela from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi. Passengers will find it easier to reach the fair area without additional travel hassles.

The railway administration has appealed to the passengers to check the date and stoppage information of the train before travelling, so that there is no inconvenience.
