Digital Desk, New Delhi. The results of local Nagar Panchayat and Municipal Council have been declared in Maharashtra. BJP has registered a big victory in this election. The BJP-led Mahayuti has won in 218 local bodies. Whereas the opposition's Maha Vikas Aghadi has won 47 seats.

Despite the tension, Mahayuti gave its full strength
Despite issues like agricultural crisis in Maharashtra, partial payment in women's welfare scheme and lack of financial support to farmers, Mahavikas Aghadi could not put up a strong fight. At the same time, Congress worked hard in Vidarbha-Marathwada, but leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) remained absent in the ground campaign. Apart from this, Mahayuti put its full strength in this election. Despite internal tensions in the alliance, the Eknath Shinde faction showed strong coordination with the BJP.
