Jagran correspondent, Jagraon. A major accident occurred near Truck Union on Sidhwa Bet Road at around 5:00 am on Wednesday due to dense fog. A truck loaded with stones went out of control and overturned on a roadside shop. A family was sleeping in the shop at the time of the accident.
In this tragic accident, two innocent children aged 5 and 7 years died on the spot. Two other children aged 9 and 11 and a couple were buried under the stones loaded in the truck. As soon as the information was received, police and local people reached the spot and started relief work and took out all the injured.
The injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment, where their treatment is ongoing. In the initial investigation, the cause of the accident is being said to be dense fog.
