Major Accident On Delhi-Dehradun Highway, Husband-wife And Their Daughter Dead, Son Serious, Bike Collides With Tractor-trolley

Dialogue Associate, Jagran, Muzaffarnagar. A horrific accident took place near Jansath bypass on Delhi-Dehradun highway. The bike rammed into a tractor trolley moving ahead on the highway. The bike-riding couple and their daughter died, while the son was seriously injured. The victim family is a resident of village Jadauda of Mansoorpur police station area. The simultaneous death of three people created chaos in the family.

The accident occurred near Jansath flyover and Gokul City on Delhi-Dehradun Highway in New Mandi Kotwali area late on Sunday evening at around 8 pm. 30 year old Sonu, resident of village Jadauda of Mansoorpur police station area, along with his son Vidya Prakash, 30 year old wife Radhika, 10 year old daughter Riya and six year old son Kala, had gone to their in-laws' house in Bagowali on the same bike.

From there he went to his relatives in Bijopura and was going back home from there. While going from Jansath flyover towards Meerut, his bike suddenly rammed into the tractor-trolley moving ahead. The bike riding couple and their two children fell on the road.

Passersby called the police and ambulance. Police sent Sonu's body for post-mortem. Whereas Radhika, Riya and Kala were sent to the district hospital. Here Radhika and Riya were declared dead by the doctors.

Due to Kale's critical condition, he was referred to Meerut, but his relatives admitted him to Anand Hospital on Bhopa Road. The condition of the child is said to be serious. The deceased woman is said to be pregnant. This will be confirmed only after the post mortem report.

Minister of State with independent charge Kapildev Aggarwal, SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat, SP Traffic Atul Kumar Choubey, CO Mandi Raju Kumar Sao and New Mandi Kotwali in-charge Brijesh Kumar Sharma reached the spot.

Ministers and officials took information about the incident from the people. After this, Minister of State Kapildev Aggarwal also reached the hospital to inquire about the condition of the child. Instructed doctors for prompt treatment. Told the doctors that he himself would bear the entire expense of the child's treatment. Money should not be taken from any family member.

People of village Jadauda told that Sonu used to work as a laborer in Amba factory. SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat said that the driver fled from the spot with the tractor trolley. The bike was over speeding. The driver could not control the bike due to its high speed. At the same time, no one including the bike driver Sonu was wearing a helmet.

Officials inspected the highway far and wide. Saw that there was no cut nearby. CCTV footage is being scrutinized. The bike was damaged in the accident.

Ambulance arrived half an hour late

Eyewitness Mohammad Ahsan alleged that after the call, the ambulance arrived late by about half an hour. At first, despite calling several times, the ambulance call did not go through. Similarly, a call was made on dial-112 after a long time. The ambulance arrived half an hour after the information.
