Death of a person under suspicious circumstances.
Jagran correspondent, Mardah (Ghazipur). 55-year-old Lakshiram Pal, resident of Nakhatpur village, died suddenly on Friday morning. After the incident, the relatives stopped the last rites of the deceased, accusing his wife of murdering him by feeding him poisonous substance. The police sent the body for post-mortem after about 30 hours.
Deceased Lakshiram Pal had married Rita Devi for the third time about two years ago. After marriage, he and his wife were living separately from other family members. शुक्रवार की सुबह अचानक उनकी मौत हो गई।
His nephew living in Mumbai called and asked to stop the cremation of the dead body. He alleged that Rita Devi had killed his uncle by feeding him poisonous substance.
On receiving information about the allegations and the absence of last rites, a large number of villagers gathered in the village. On Saturday, nephew Jaiprakash Pal, who came from Mumbai, while giving information on dial 112, accused aunt Rita Devi of murder.
Mardah police station incharge Taravati Yadav said that on the application of Jaiprakash Pal, the body has been sent for post-mortem. The actual cause of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes.
