This action comedy film has collected a gross worldwide collection of over Rs 100 crore in India and Rs 150 crore globally. It has become the first hit film of Indian cinema this year.

Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu made great money during the festival of Sankranti. It had a great opening of Rs 32.25 crore at the box office. On the third day on Wednesday, it made a domestic collection of Rs 19.50 crore and on the fourth day, it made a domestic collection of Rs 22 crore.

Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu has now become the second biggest Telugu film of this year. With this, it has come close to beating Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab'. Horror comedy film Raja Saab has earned Rs 191 crore worldwide, but despite a great box office opening, its collections are falling. This film of Chiranjeevi can overtake it by this weekend and maybe even go beyond it.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu is a classic film which will give full on Chiranjeevi style action entertainment. It also stars Nayanthara and has a cameo by Daggubati Venkatesh. The film was released on 12 January, before the Sankranti holidays.
