The festival is likely to be inaugurated on January 14 by Vijay Kumar Sinha, Deputy CM cum Land Reforms Minister of the state government. The main attraction of the fair, the Munishwar Agro Industry Exhibition, has started improving.
Farmer Hut, Mushroom Hut and Onion Storage Hut
For the first time, Farmer Hut, Mushroom Hut and Onion Storage Hut have been constructed by the Agriculture Department. Along with this, a demo of irrigation with less water through drip and mini sprinkler system will be shown to the farmers under the micro irrigation scheme in the kitchen garden. Preparations are in full swing in all four parts of the agricultural exhibition complex, however, the preparations of the Fisheries and Rural Development Department are said to be lax. The demo pond has not been repaired yet by the Fisheries Department.
Security and arrangements were reviewed
A total of 32 stalls of various departments including health, nagar panchayat, livelihood, agriculture are being set up in the agricultural exhibition. The work of decoration of Mandar stage, entrance gate and dome hangar is being done rapidly by the Tourism Department, where 1500 chairs will be arranged. Swings, Meena Bazaar, sports spectacles, hotels and other shops will also be decorated in the fair grounds.
Drop gates built at 18 places
SDM Rajkumar inspected the site along with the administrative team and said that the security, parking and traffic arrangements in the fair area will be tight. Drop gates have been made at 18 places and the fair area has been declared a no parking zone. The route of heavy vehicles will remain diverted. SDPO Indrajit Baitha said that surveillance will be done through drones and CCTV. Meanwhile, preparations for the procession of Lord Madhusudan have been completed by Panda Samaj. On the instructions of DM Navdeep Shukla, various sports competitions will be organized from 14 to 17 January, whose winners will be honored on 18 January.
