Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. MCD team took major action against encroachment in both Shahdara North and South zones. In Mustafabad, the team demolished encroachments on both sides of the road. During this, local MLA and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Mohan Singh Bisht was also present. He gave necessary instructions to the corporation officials.
On Monday morning, the corporation team reached Mustafabad assembly constituency with its team. Here the illegal encroachments on both sides of the road from Shiv Vihar Tirahe to Mukhiya Market were removed. Due to encroachment for a long time, this road had become very narrow, due to which the traffic system was badly affected and people had to face traffic jams daily.
Mohan Singh Bisht said that the biggest obstacle in road widening was encroachment. Due to the occupation of the road by shopkeepers and local people, not only was there a problem of traffic jam, but pedestrians and emergency vehicles were also facing a lot of problems. During this period, more than 50 illegal constructions were demolished.
Warning given to officials in Vinod Nagar
After continuous complaints, corporation officials also visited Vinod Nagar and ordered the employees to improve the system. Additional Commissioner of the Corporation, Pankaj Naresh Aggarwal gave instructions to improve the cleanliness and condition of parks in Vinod Nagar Ward 198. During this time people complained about some employees. On this the Commissioner warned and asked to improve the work. During this, MLA Ravi Negi, Councilor Sarla Chaudhary, Shahdara South Zone Deputy Commissioner Badal Kumar were present.
