The controversy that erupted over a Muslim youth purchasing a house in a Hindu-dominated area of Meerut continues to escalate. A meeting of both parties was convened for the first time on Monday, but it ended without reaching any conclusion. Instead of the dispute being resolved, the matter appears to be becoming more complicated.
The entire matter is entangled in the amount of the house deal
According to reports, the root of the dispute is believed to be a disagreement over the amount and transaction amount of the house deal. Both parties claim that a misunderstanding arose regarding the amount and terms of the deal, which escalated the matter. It is now hoped that a final decision will be reached in the second meeting today.
Despite the presence of leaders from both sides, no resolution was reached
The negotiations were held at Jeetu Nagpal's residence, where a large number of social and political representatives from both sides were present. Leaders present from one side included BJP leader Deepak Sharma, Naveen Arora, Rajesh Juneja, Tarun Gupta, Sunil Dua, and Uma Shankar Advocate.
Representatives from the other side included SP leader Babar Chauhan Khardouni, Haji Wasim, Councilor Shahid Pehelwan, Mohammad Azam, Shahbaz Qureshi, and Shahrukh Khan Advocate. Despite this, the two sides were unable to reach a resolution.
A decisive meeting may be held today
According to reports, another meeting will be convened today, where it is hoped the matter will be resolved. Local residents are also concerned about the issue and are hoping for a quick resolution.
