Dialogue associate, Jagran, Dataganj. Three industrial corridors are to be built on the Ganga Expressway, which is about 95 km from four tehsils of the district. In this, the work of identifying and acquiring land is going on for the industrial corridor to be built near Ghatpuri in Binawar and Vankota in Wazirganj.
An industrial corridor is also to be built between Papad and Daharpur of Dataganj. But due to shortage of land here, the proposal was returned by the government. After this, after completing the land, a proposal has been made again and sent. It is expected that the new proposal will be passed soon. After this, other works including land acquisition will be started.
An interchange of Ganga Expressway has been built near Papad in Dataganj tehsil. There is a plan to establish an industrial corridor between Papad and Daharpur. Earlier, a proposal of 176 acres of land was sent to the government for the industrial corridor, which was returned by the government due to less land.
A proposal of 300 hectares of land was sought from the government to establish an industrial corridor. On this, Deputy District Magistrate Dataganj Dharmendra Kumar Singh has prepared a new proposal of total 300 hectares of land including additional 124 hectares of land and sent it to the government.
According to officials, the way for the construction of the industrial corridor will be cleared only after approval from the government. The people of the area are very excited about this. Dataganj MLA Rajiv Kumar Singh is continuously lobbying for this at the government level. It was only after his efforts that the interchange was built here. People believe that construction of an industrial corridor here will accelerate the development of the area.

Now as per the demand of the government, a proposal for 300 hectares of land has been sent. Once approved by the government, industrial development in the area will be promoted and local people will get new employment opportunities.
