Moga: Car Falls Off Bridge Due To Fog, Teacher Couple Going On Election Duty Dies

Dialogue Associate, Moga. A teacher couple died after their car fell from a bridge near Sangatpura village under Baghapurana town at around 6 am on Sunday. The accident happened due to fog.

According to the information, due to the election duty of government teacher Kamaljit Kaur in village Maadi Mustafa, Jaskaran Singh was going to drop his wife Kamaljit Kaur for duty in the car at around 6 in the morning.

Due to dense fog and mist in the morning, the car fell from Rajbahe bridge into Rajbahe near Sangatpura village. During the accident, some people of the village tried to save him from water. After this, people took both of them to Civil Hospital of Baghapurana, but Jaskaran Singh and Kamaljeet Kaur were declared dead.

It is being told that the deceased Jaskaran Singh was an English teacher in village Khote while Kamaljeet Kaur was a teacher in village Pattohira Singh. The entire teachers union has expressed grief over this tragic accident.
