The Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India has launched the country's first cooperative ride-hailing app, Bharat Taxi App. This app is being run by Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited. Till now, it was running as a pilot project in many states including Delhi-NCR, but today, on February 5, 2026, Union Minister Amit Shah launched it for the entire country.
