Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. More drivers have applied for auto and e-rickshaw routes in the city than the number decided by the administration. Many questions have arisen due to increased interest from drivers in each route. While on one hand the auto union is upset due to this, on the other hand it has created a situation of fear and doubt among the drivers. Maximum drivers have shown interest in driving autos and e-rickshaws in the reserve.
On Wednesday, Muzaffarpur Auto Rickshaw Employees Union handed over the list of autos and e-rickshaws running on the routes to DTO Kumar Satendra Yadav. Union President AR Annu and General Secretary Mohd. Ilyas Ilu, while giving a list of about 3357 autos and e-rickshaws, also informed the DTO about the problems. According to the association, most of the applications have come regarding operations in the reserve.
