Samvad Sutra, Majhiyan (Garhwa). A heart-wrenching incident came to light in village Kamat under Majhiyanv police station area on Monday night. 35-year-old Aasmin Khatoon and her eight-year-old daughter Anni Fatima died under suspicious circumstances in their house located near the mosque.
People are shocked by the death of mother and daughter within a span of four hours. Anni Fatima was a regular student of class 3 of Government Urdu Middle School, Prithvipur. While his younger sister Alsibba Khatoon is a class one student of the same school.
After the incident, six year old Alsibba Khatoon is the only one left alive in the family. According to the information, Aasmin Khatoon slept in the room with her two daughters after having dinner at night.
When Aasmeen Khatoon's health suddenly deteriorated late at night, her elder daughter Anni Fatima opened the door. After this, the relatives sleeping in the other room hurriedly took him to Majhiyan Community Health Center for treatment.
First the mother died and four hours later the daughter died.
After investigation, doctors declared Aasmin Khatoon dead. A few hours later, the condition of eight-year-old Anni Fatima also deteriorated and she was brought to the hospital. The doctors also declared him dead.
The death of mother and daughter within four hours and the bodies reaching the hospital at different times is bringing the entire case under even more doubt. It was told that the deceased's husband Saud Khan works in Bengaluru.
At the time of the incident, the deceased's brother-in-law Shahid Khan, his wife Tamanna Bibi and mother-in-law Maqsuda Bibi were present in the house. The maternal home of the deceased is in Kararia village of Mohammadganj police station area of Palamu district.
Citing a family dispute, the mother's side has alleged conspiracy to murder the mother and daughter. As soon as information about the incident was received, police inspector Brij Kumar and police station in-charge Omprakash Toppo reached the spot with their team.
Police did not receive any written complaint
After taking stock of the situation, both the bodies were taken into custody and sent to Garhwa Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The station in-charge said that no written complaint has been received till now. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application.
Police Inspector Brij Kumar said that whether it was murder or suicide, no clear evidence was found from the spot. The entire matter will be exposed only after the post mortem report comes.
