Technology Desk, New Delhi. Motorola Signature will be launched in India in January. The company announced the launch date and glimpsed the design of the upcoming handset. Positioned as a premium model, the smartphone has been shown through an official post and a Flipkart microsite, confirming a fabric-finished rear panel and a flat display with thin bezels. Motorola has also hinted at flagship-grade performance as well as advanced camera hardware, including a periscope telephoto lens. This phone was also seen on a popular benchmarking site.

In a post on X, the company confirmed that the Motorola Signature will be launched in India on January 7, 2026. It is touted to be a premium offering and the live Flipkart microsite of the handset shows some details related to its design, without revealing its hardware specifications.
The rear panel of the Motorola Signature will have a fabric finish and the handset will have a flat display with uniform, thin bezels and a hole-punch slot in the middle for the front camera. The right side is the volume rocker and power button. On the left is another button, which could be a camera control button or used as a customizable shortcut key for AI access or other functions.

Motorola has also revealed the rear camera module for the upcoming Signature handset. A teaser image shows that for photography, like many top-end models, the smartphone will have a periscope telephoto shooter.
Motorola Signature was first spotted on Geekbench. It scored 2,854 points in single core and 9,411 points in multi-core test. The listing showed a CPU with two cores clocked at 3.80GHz and six cores clocked at 3.32GHz as well as Adreno 829 GPU, which points towards a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It was also revealed to have 16GB RAM and support for Android 16 out of the box.
Previous leaks suggest that it may come in Carbon and Martini Olive color options, along with Motorola signature stylus support. Its triple rear camera unit is expected to feature a 50-megapixel rear camera sensor, which includes a primary Sony Lytia sensor with optical image stabilization.
