Alankrit Chaudhary talking to the media
Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. Bareilly Municipal Magistrate Alankrit Agnihotri, who came into limelight after resigning, came in front of the media and answered their questions. When journalists asked him about his resignation, he said that he was firm on his decision. When asked whether there was any pressure on him from anywhere, he said that there was no pressure of any kind on him.
Their demand has spread across the country through media. He said that both the central and state governments have lost their trust. The general class has gone away from them. They have disturbed their core. The central and state governments are in disarray. At present there is a minority government at the Center and the state. If elections are held now, they will not return to power.
On the question of getting support, he said that not only Brahmins, he is getting support from the entire society. He said that the UGC regulation has broken the entire upper caste society. Regarding the regulation of UGC, he said that the upper caste community is not for raping multiple daughters. Regarding joining politics, he said that whatever further step will be taken, it will be decided by the entire society.
We are getting support from all the organizations in the state and other states. Everyone is coming to meet. The decision will be taken after talks with them. Alankrit Agnihotri said that whatever I will talk here, I will do it only for the caste or Brahmin MP-MLAs. I am a Brahmin myself, so my question will be to him only. I want to ask them to resign from their posts immediately.
The government is in minority. If you stay in that you will destroy your reputation. Society is now against you. Even if you get a ticket and you continue working there like a corporate company, your security deposit will definitely be forfeited. The entire Brahmin and upper caste society has turned against you.
He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is working on anti-Brahmin ideology. It has become a government of only one caste. He also said very harsh things about public representatives. He said that no MP-MLA is listening to the people. Everyone is sitting with folded hands. Unless some major incident happens, they will remain silent. They won't do anything. There is neither democracy nor republic left here. There is only illusion here.
Regarding being adamant on the return of UGC law, he said that he is adamant on this, there is nothing to be adamant about. He said that we have to bring the society and the country on the right path by breaking the social system which has been fragmented by this system through different acts. We should not divide the country into castes and sub-castes so much that a civil war-like situation arises in the country.
Our country is not a corporate company that can take profits and leave tomorrow and leave the society fighting. In response to the question whether the main anger is about UGC or the Prayagraj incident, he said that both the issues are about anti-Brahmin ideology. UGC will not only affect Brahmins but all the upper caste people.
When he was asked whether the government was persecuting him since the beginning since he has been working for a long time, he said that whether the government persecutes or not, it is working under an ideology. It becomes visible and if we have consciousness, we are affected. BJP leaders and officials are coming to meet, is there any pressure?
On this he said that all those who are interested will come to meet him. Everyone has attachment, they will definitely meet. All the public representatives who are coming to meet are also affected by this. Regarding the question of coming into politics, he said that the society will decide what to do. When he was asked what he would do if his resignation was not accepted, he said that he would have to accept the resignation as it was his constitutional right.
