Jagran correspondent, Bulandshahr. The police has exposed the murder of a salon operator in Transport Nagar of Kotwali Dehat area. The salon operator had tried to rape the young man while under the influence of alcohol. On this the young man killed the salon operator by crushing him with a brick.
The police have arrested the youth accused of murder, resident of Ginaurashekh. In a press conference held at the Police Line Auditorium on Wednesday, SP City Shankar Prasad said that on Tuesday night, 58-year-old salon operator Shamim Ahmed, resident of Kamalpur, was crushed to death with a brick in Transport Nagar of Kotwali Dehat area.
On Wednesday morning, the body of the salon operator was found lying in a house under construction. Shamim Ahmed has a salon at Bhood intersection of the city. On the complaint of Shamim Ahmed's son Wasim Ahmed, the police registered a case and started investigating the case. Within 12 hours, the police uncovered the incident and arrested the murderer.
SP City told that Sohail, son of Shokeen, resident of village Ginaurashekh of Kotwali Dehat area, had gone to Shamim's salon to get his hair cut at 10 pm on 17th February. After this Shamim told her that he would sleep near her today. After that Sohail and Shamim drank alcohol together in the under construction house.
Shamim Ahmed tried to rape Sohail while under the influence of alcohol, when Sohail protested, Shamim used indecency. Angered by this, Sohail killed Shamim by hitting him on the head with a brick lying nearby and after killing him, he took Shamim's phone and ran away by jumping over the gate. Police arrested the accused and recovered the brick used in the murder and Shamim's mobile phone. Challan has been issued to the accused.
The accused told his son-in-law on phone that he had murdered Shamim.
After killing salon operator Shamim, the accused took away his mobile phone. Then Shamim's son-in-law, a resident of Ghaziabad, called him that his daughter had boarded a bus from Ghaziabad to come to her parents' home. Sohail received Shamim's call and told his son-in-law that he had murdered Shamim.
