Lucknow's Rashtra Prerna Sthal Complex
Digital Desk, Jagran, Lucknow: The Rashtra Prerna Sthal complex of the capital Lucknow is a document of the ideological journey of Indian nationalism for the youth. It will be opened to the public from Friday. Here, 65-65 feet high bronze statues of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee have been installed.
Rashtra Prerna Sthal has been dedicated to the nation on the 101st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In this, the entire journey of Atal ji from the defeat of 1952 to the Prime Minister is shown. He was known for his political commitment. It was his extraordinary personality that the then Pandit Nehru had even said that he would definitely become the Prime Minister in the future. Along with them, the biographies of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee have been displayed in the museum of Rashtra Prerna Sthal.
The grandeur of the National Inspiration Site fascinates
The Rashtra Prerna Sthal is also a document of the ideological journey of Indian nationalism beyond the memorial. Dedicated to Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh thinker Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this place unites the ideas which have had a great impact on the politics and culture of independent India. Its 98 thousand square feet museum block impresses with its grandeur at first sight. The first gallery of the museum has been designed as an orientation room. Here, important milestones in the lives of the three national heroes will be shown through audio-visual medium. The balance of simple language, effective visuals and technology makes this gallery special.
Museum's gallery dedicated to Atal ji
The gallery of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal Memorial is dedicated to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In the fifth gallery, poems, glimpses of speeches and important moments of political life of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee are shown. In this, along with the story of his life, audio of his speeches can also be heard. His thoughts will inspire the youth.
The jail in which Shyama Prasad was imprisoned was displayed in the museum.
The second gallery of the museum is dedicated to the formation and development of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. From here the way opens to understand the political stream of nationalism. Photographs, documents and newspaper cuttings show how an ideological movement took organized political form.
From Kashmir to national unity
The third gallery is dedicated to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Here his struggle, principles and sacrifice are shown through silicone sculptures, rare photographs and documents. From Kashmir to national unity, his views have been explained in simple language. The photo here shows the jail where Mukherjee was lodged.
Fourth gallery focuses on the thoughts of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay
The fourth gallery focuses on the thoughts of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay. Integral humanism is presented here not just as a theory but as a philosophy of life. The quotes and scenes engraved on the walls explain that the aim of politics is not just development but to reach the last man of the society. This gallery touches the soul of cultural nationalism.
Bharat Mata Courtyard built on the first floor
The five courtyards of the museum give it openness and symbolic depth. Bharat Mata Courtyard built on the first floor is a special attraction. Here the ten feet high statue of Bharat Mata and Vande Mataram inscribed on the wall strengthen the feeling of patriotism. The other two courtyards on the first floor have replicas of the Jan Sangh's symbols Deepak and Sudarshan Chakra. The lamp symbolizes the light of thoughts, while the Sudarshan Chakra indicates justice and protection of religion. In the courtyard of the second floor, thrones, printing machines, tables, chairs and walking sticks used by national heroes are displayed. The printing machine displayed in a courtyard of the museum, through which freedom fighters used to print pamphlets and newspapers for publicity in their favor.
The 12 interpretation walls of the museum tell the story of the Indian freedom struggle and great personalities. History has been given visual form through murals and relief art. It is a combination of art and history that completely engages viewers of all ages. The VVIP Green Room in the Museum Block has been prepared for official events. This shows that this site will not only become a center of memory, but also a center of active public dialogue. The biggest feature of the museum is its simple language and inclusive presentation. Here history is not kept as a burden but as an inspiration.
