Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. On Mahashivratri, Nathanagri Bareilly became Shiva-like. Along with decorating the squares and intersections with flowers and digital lights, the statue of Nandi at Jhumka intersection and the statue of Lord Nataraja at Invertis intersection were inaugurated. During this period, there was echo of Har-Har Mahadev everywhere.
To promote religious-cultural tourism, BDA inaugurated the statue of Nandi and Nataraja under construction at Jhumka and Invertis Tiraha on the occasion of Mahashivratri. On the eve of Mahashivratri, every gate, intersection and every divider of the city is seen illuminated with devotion.
The echo of Damru and the slogan of Har-Har Mahadev started being heard. The statue of Nandi Maharaj has been installed at Jhumka Tiraha. Nandi Park is being given a more grand and divine look. The grand statue of Nataraja on Shahjahanpur Road is mesmerizing everyone. BDA Vice President Dr. Manikandan A. Told that the festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated in a divine manner.
Nathnagari is being strengthened through symbols of Shiva with the aim of promoting tourism through religious traditions and culture. Giant statues, special lighting, landscaping and theme based flower decoration at the entrances have been completed. Jhumka will also be installed in the next one week.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate Nandi Park. Only after this will permission be given to go inside. Right now we will be able to have darshan from outside only. Attractive lighting and special selfie points have been prepared at both the intersections. The entrance at Jhumka Tiraha has been given the form of Avedyanath Gate, which will give the spiritual identity of the city.
Devotees coming from Lucknow will have the darshan of Lord Nataraja and Trishul at Rajau Tiraha. Making everyone happy with colorful LED lights, decorated dividers and plantation.
Crossroads decorated with flowers, special decoration for three days
The major intersections of the city, from Sarafa Bazaar to Qila-Qutub Khana, have been decorated with garlands of marigold and roses. There will be special flower arrangement from 14th to 16th February. Roads in different sectors have been decorated on a theme basis, at some places the flower art of Shivling and Damru, and at some places the figures of Trishul, Moon and snake are the center of attraction.
