Communication Associate, Navgachia (Bhagalpur). A Class 10 student died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Murali village of Rangra police station area of Navgachia area of Bhagalpur. After his family members found him unconscious in a room of the house, he was immediately taken to Rangara Primary Health Center, where doctors declared him dead.
After medical confirmation, the family returned to the village with the dead body. Meanwhile, mutual discussions were going on regarding the last rites. Later, Rangra police station got information about the incident through local sources. As soon as the information was received, the police patrol team reached the village and took legal action and took the body into their custody.
Police have sent the body for post-mortem, so that clear information can be obtained about the cause of death. In this regard, Rangra police station incharge Vishwabandhu Kumar said that the deceased was a class 10 student. During preliminary investigation, information has come to light that before the incident, there was a dispute between a shopkeeper and his family members near the house regarding money transaction. Meanwhile, the matter of reprimanding the student is also coming to light.
The police station chief said that the police station received information about the incident with some delay, due to which it took time to gather information at the initial level. He said that the matter is being investigated keeping all aspects in mind. Statements of family members and related persons are being recorded.
At present the police is waiting for the post mortem report. Only after the report comes, the actual cause of death can be confirmed and further legal action will be taken. Police have appealed to the people to avoid any kind of rumors and cooperate in the investigation.
