State Bureau, Ranchi. The result of the preliminary examination has been released under the entrance examination conducted for enrollment in the academic session 2025-26 in Netarhat Residential School, Latehar. A total of 493 candidates have been declared successful in this preliminary examination, whose copies of the main examination will be examined. The preliminary examination was only of qualifying nature, in which there is a provision to check the copy of the main examination only after passing it.

This time the entrance examination for enrollment in Netarhat Residential School was conducted on October 12 in a changed pattern. Under this, preliminary examination was conducted in the first shift and main examination was conducted in the second shift.

Five times i.e. 500 candidates were to be declared successful in the preliminary examination against the total 100 seats, but due to less applications in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, only 43 candidates instead of 50 could be declared successful in the preliminary examination.

Under the changed pattern, the copies of the main examination of a total of 493 candidates will be checked. On the basis of marks obtained in the main examination, against total 100 seats, one and a half times i.e. 150 students will be selected for physical test and psychological test. For the first time, psychological testing of students will also be done for enrollment.

After this the students will be finally selected for enrolment. Let us tell you that the preliminary and main examination were conducted simultaneously in all the divisional headquarters. The preliminary exam was taken on OMR sheets, while the main exam consisted of objective questions. Objective questions of 100 marks were asked in the preliminary examination.

These included 20-20 questions from mental ability, Hindi, mathematics, science and social studies, whereas in the main examination, 25-25 questions were asked from Hindi, mathematics, science and social studies.
