Jagran correspondent, Gopalganj. People in the district will get some facilities in the new year. Under this, parks will be constructed at 16 places in the district. This also includes the work of building one park each in all the block headquarters.
For this, site selection work has been completed at eight places so far. If everything happens as per the schedule, then the people of the district will start getting park facilities in the new year.
However, there is a lack of quality park in the entire district till the year 2025. Plans have been prepared to build parks at some places later this year. In this work, cooperation of MNREGA will be taken at the administration level.
If we look at the administrative preparations, the work of building parks in all the block headquarters will be completed in the year 2026. Apart from this, there is a plan to develop the area around all the Amrit Sarovars as a park, so that the surrounding area can be made green.
Saplings will be planted in the area around the park
Under this campaign, greenery in the areas around the park will be increased. Under this, saplings will be planted around the park. The work of planting trees will start with the construction of the park. This work will also be done under the supervision of MNREGA.
A big park will be built in Thawe Jungle Complex
Under this campaign, a big park will be built in the forest area near Thawe Durga Temple. The work of making the park here will be done under the supervision of the Forest Department, so that the devotees reaching Thawe can spend some time sitting in the park after the puja.
Apart from this, the area around the pond located in front of Thawe Durga temple is being developed as a musical park, so that people can spend some of their time in the temple premises.
Plan to develop the park located at Sadar Block Office Complex
At present, there is a small park located in the Sadar Block Office premises in the entire district. The construction of this park was started in the year 2022. At present this park is quite small.
There are plans to develop this park further in the new year. So that people's attraction towards this park can increase further. This was agreed upon in the meeting of Chief Minister City Development Scheme. The amount under the scheme will be spent on the expansion of the park.
