Jagran correspondent, Noida. Under public service from the new year in the city, two special buses will be operated from Morna depot towards the Transport Corporation. The fare of these buses will be 20 percent less than the prescribed fare. These buses will run from Noida to Kalunda and Jahangirpur. For the first time, other villages of the district are being connected to the depot through this bus service.
According to the officials of Morna Depot located in Sector 35, this exercise is currently being done and will be started as soon as the green signal is received. This facility is expected to be operational from the new year.
Let us tell you, this service will start under public service. Under this, for the first time the villages of Kalunda and Jahangirpur areas will be directly connected with bus service from Morna depot. Till now the people of these villages had to depend on private means or expensive transport options to reach the city.
With the start of the new bus service, students, employed people, elderly and rural travelers will get special benefits. In fact, to come to Noida, people from these areas either had to come to Dadri somehow, or they were dependent on their personal resources. This decision is being taken to overcome this problem.
The biggest feature of this scheme is that passengers traveling in these two buses will be charged 20 percent less than the fixed fare. Officials say that the objective of providing bus service at affordable rates is to provide affordable and safe travel facilities to the people of rural areas. This will also reduce the expenses of daily commuters.
At present, discussions are going on on routes, timetables and other technical aspects. As soon as the green signal is received from the government level, the operation of buses will be started. Both buses will make more trips in the morning and evening, so that more and more passengers can benefit from it.
Efforts are being made to run two buses from Noida depot under public service to connect the villages of Kalunda and Jahagirpur from the new year, operations will be started as soon as instructions are received.
