No Eligible Person Should Be Deprived Of Schemes In Uttar Pradesh, Minister Of State For Backward Class Welfare Gave Instructions

State Bureau, Lucknow. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap has given instructions to accelerate departmental schemes. The Minister said that no one should be deprived of the benefits of eligible schemes.

In case of transaction failure in the scholarship scheme, an automatic system of re-payment should be implemented and information of each step should be given to the students through SMS and e-mail. The eligible people should be benefited by disposing of the pending applications of marriage grant scheme.

In the meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, the Minister said that there should be no negligence at any level in the operation of the schemes. It was told that till December 15 in the current financial year, Rs 139.288 crore has been sent to the accounts of 69,644 beneficiaries. Instructions have been given to divisional and district officers to provide benefits to the remaining eligible applicants.

Rs 147.75 crore has been given to 6,90,349 students under Purva Dasham scholarship and Rs 175.54 crore has been given to 5,85,954 students under Post Dasham scholarship-fee reimbursement. 21,336 O-level and 7,355 CCC trainees are being trained under the Computer Training Scheme.

So far Rs 19.18 crore has been spent. In the review of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, it was told that under the Disabled Maintenance Grant Scheme, more than 11.57 lakh persons with disabilities are being given assistance of Rs 1000 per month.

The Minister said that effective implementation of all schemes related to disabled people should be ensured. Systems like digital innovation, e-office, online payment and budget monitoring etc. should be further strengthened.
