Now Recruitment On Teacher Posts Will Be Done Through CTET In Bihar, Education Department Announced To End TET

Education Desk, New Delhi. There is big news for the youth preparing for teacher recruitment in Bihar. Bihar Education Department has announced to abolish the state level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for teacher recruitment. Now Teacher Eligibility Test will not be conducted in Bihar. Even earlier this examination was not being conducted regularly by BSEB. But, now it has been decided not to organize it completely.

Now recruitment to teacher posts will be done through this examination

After the completion of this examination, there will be a question in the minds of the candidates that through which examination the teacher posts will be held, then let us tell you that now the candidates who qualify in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination conducted by CBSE every year will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment in Bihar.

Change in rules till class 8

Let us tell you that now to become a teacher in primary schools (class 1 to 5) in Bihar, candidates will have to qualify in CTET Paper 1, whereas to become a teacher in upper primary schools (class 6 to 8), it will be mandatory to qualify in CTET Paper 2.

Why was the decision taken

According to the details shared by Bihar Education Department, CTET is being organized every year by CBSE at the central level. Adequate number of candidates are being found to appear in the recruitment through this examination, hence there is no point in conducting state level TET. In such a situation, it has been decided not to conduct this examination.
