Samvadsutra, Jagran, Achhalda (Auraiya). On the possibility of crude oil, the engineering team from Delhi did the boring work on the banks of Sengur river in Hasanpur village with machines. Blasts were carried out inside the boring. The team has been camping in the village since late Wednesday evening. More than 50 laborers have been employed. The team's chances of finding crude oil in the area increased after drone cameras detected it in November.
ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) is investigating the geological structure. There could be an important discovery in the energy sector. Due to which economic activities can increase at the local level and new doors for oil production can open in future. Due to indications of crude oil in Hasanpur village, 20 borings can be done at 180 feet in a radius of three kilometers.
The first boring was done by Wednesday evening
The first boring had started by Wednesday evening. After completion of the work, the borings were blasted inside. The engineering team from Delhi arrived and checked the machines. The second boring started on the river bank from Thursday. At present, only survey and testing will be required to determine the possibility of getting initial indications. The fact that this work has been going on for months now is being considered a big achievement for the discovery.
